Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Field verification for pre-assigned lateral connections and electrical circuits.
  • Field verification for pre-design.
  • Field meeting facilitation between client and trades.
  • Field support as required to support RFIs.
  • Field verification for architectural, mechanical, process, electrical, and structural needs / coordination of findings to remote designers.
  • Design Review attendance.
  • Communicates client requirements to each discipline.
  • Coordinates meetings and establishes all paper flow and document control with client, contractors, regulatory agencies, and others involved.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Position Type: Contract / Regular Full-Time
Minimum Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree / RELATED / 3-5 OSHA 10/30-hour Construction Certificate preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Multidiscipline experience: able to communicate mechanical, process, structural, and electrical needs from client to engineers and designers.
  • Able to conduct field verification for routing plans including climbing ladders, suiting up in a cleanroom suit, and some verification under 2 FT raised floor while wearing a cleanroom suit.
  • AutoCAD not required, but a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Position Summary
Santa Clara design site coordinator (DSC) will work hand-in-hand with our design lead and design team in Oregon (all work to physically be completed in Santa Clara). DSC will perform any field work required and will be the face for the trades / client as well will attend reviews and help answer RFIs while using the engineering team in Oregon. Field work will be required to help solve solutions with trade partners as well as verifying site conditions. Potential support in submission / processing permits as required.
