SSOE Inc. currently has an exciting career opportunity in our Omaha, NE office for an Food Process Project Manager.
Requirements: Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering required and registration preferred. Eight (8) years experience in design and preparation of construction documents for commercial, institutional and industrial facilities. Good facilitator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attentive to detail, follow-up procedures, and documentation of action. Occasional travel may be required. Candidate will be involved in project engineering & management, process and facility engineering, business development (proposal preparation & presentation, manhour and design cost estimating and scheduling), ISO system compliance for all assignments. Candidate will work closely with client division engineering personnel on a regular basis for project definition, development, estimating, and local plant support. Food process design, operations, and project management experience. This should include experience in operations common to thermal processing and packaging of food products; canning packaging systems; kitchen sytstems including batching, blending, and retorts; sanitary design for processes and GMP facilities, relevant environmental systems, utility systems, and field support for all phases of project execution (scoping to commissioning). Other duties as assigned.
