SSOE has an exciting opportunity for an Mechanical Student Intern at our Troy, MI office.
Requirements:
Current enrollment in a two or four year college degree program. Must be registered with the Office of Professional Experience Program or equivalent. Demonstrated organizational skills. Occasional travel may be required. Must be knowledgable of Autocadd and 3D cadd such as IDEAS. Good communication skills.
Student will perform basic engineering and CAD tasks using a computer, under close, direct supervision of senior engineers. Research equipment, obtain cut sheets, generate basic calculations, complete minor drawing changes, assemble raw spec sections, run prints & copies. Update Dept standards.
Other duties as assigned.
