SSOE has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Architect at our Raleigh-Durham, NC office.
As a Senior Architect at SSOE, you will have the opportunity to:
- Become involved in business development activities to sustain our company's growth. These activities may include meeting with potential clients, attending trade shows and presenting at technical conferences.
- Meet with clients to develop scopes of work, design budgets and construction estimates.
- Oversee architectural team to ensure design concepts are properly executed.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget and with the highest technical quality using state of the art communication tools in a collaborative effort across multiple geographic locations.
- Become involved in the technical and professional development of junior architects and designers underscoring our vision of being the employer of choice by employees.
- Coordinate with other architects to develop unique and cost effective design solutions illustrating our vision of being the company of choice by our clients.

We seek a talented and highly motivated architect with a B.Arch or M.Arch; and 5+ years experience performing development of design, contract documents production, specification editing, cost estimating, discipline coordination and construction administration for a variety of project types including education, healthcare, commercial, retail. Must have a working knowledge of applicable codes and building systems. Registered Architects highly preferred. You must be hands-on in the production effort and have working knowledge of Autocad or Microstation.
