Position Summary:
Senior Project Manager experienced in industrial and manufacturing facility who will oversee a variety of Design projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage multi-discipline projects related to the design and construction of industrial facilities.
- Prepare and maintain necessary project start-up documentation.
- Organize and distribute project workload among various offices and teams.
- Ensure projects are in line with project schedule and budget.
- Facilitate communication and interaction with teams, owners, clients and contractors.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture required. Professional License preferred. 8 - 10 years directly related experience in the design and preparation of construction documents for industrial and manufacturing facilities. Prior experience in an environment that created drawings and specifications as a deliverable is preferred. Knowledge of and experience in the Birmingham region and clients is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget and client expectations.
- Excellent communication skills to lead and support teams across multiple locations.
- Effectively able to work in both a team environment and independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Computer Applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel and Project).
- Prior experience in Deltek Vision a Plus!
