Position Summary:
Sr. Electrical Engineer who will be the project design team leader for a variety of Industrial Facility projects involving power, lighting and controls.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical and power design team.
  • Design grounding systems and single line diagrams.
  • Develop sizing and specifications for required equipment and materials.
  • Responsible for cost estimation, scope development, labor needs and status reporting.
  • Work and participate on other projects within the office.
  • Develop necessary deliverables in team environment for electrical bids and construction.

Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. PE license preferred or ability to obtain PE soon. 8 - 10 years directly related design experience in the following:
-Industrial power, lighting and controls.
-Motor Controls, MCC and VFD's.
-Low and Medium Voltage power systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in lighting and power application design software (EasyPower, SKM, EDSA, LightPro, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable of general industrial facility electric power and distribution.
  • Familiarity with NEC hazardous classifications.
  • Understanding of power software and ability to perform facility load and short circuit analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills to lead and support teams across multiple locations.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
  • Flexibility to undertake work in multiple market sectors.
  • Ability to think strategically in order to develop organizational tactics or approaches to large projects.
