Position Summary:
Structural Engineer who will lead the structural design of various industrial facility projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Project lead for structural design of industrial buildings.
- Coordinate and plan project budgets and schedules.
- Communicate with clients during design and construction phase.
- Effectively resolve any construction issues that may arise.
- Delegate work to other engineers and designers on the project team.
- Review drawings for accuracy and quality prior to issue.
- Ensure projects follow and are completed according to client expectations and code requirements.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering. Professional Engineers license or ability to obtain PE soon. 8 - 10 years directly related structural design experience in Industrial Facilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Knowledge of structural and building codes related to industrial buildings.
- Proven ability to lead and manager small structural projects.
- Excellent communication skills to lead and support teams across multiple locations.
- Effectively able to work in both a team environment and independently.
- Flexibility to undertake work in multiple market sectors.
- Detail-Oriented and capable of handling several projects simultaneously.
