Position Summary:
Experienced Mechanical Engineer in batch design, glass and general manufacturing projects, responsible for taking the discipline lead on multi-discipline projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Mechanical engineering on glass and manufacturing projects.
- Lead engineer of discipline on multi-discipline projects.
- Direct team engineers and designers on projects,
- Lead outside sub-consultants on batch and material handling projects.
- Retrieve field data.
- Direct design review with clients.
- Act as on-site installation report.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
8+ yrs directly related experience in the following areas:
General bulk material handling systems.
Batch pneumatic conveying systems.
Bucket elevator systems.
Glass plant batch and Cullet systems
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- General mechanical competency and apptitude,
- Demonstrated self-starter able to take initiative and manage projects with minimal direction
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment,
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and organize workload.
- Proven ability to manage design and production teams.
