Position Summary:
Electrical Engineer with consulting design experience in electrical power, lighting, and auxilary systems for industrial plants and commerical buildings.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Act as electrical team leader on selected projects.
- Direct designers and CAD operators according to project needs.
- Responsible for writing and editing specifications.
- Report directly to the department manager who will review design concepts.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
PE preferred.
8+ yrs. directly related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Proven ability at power system design and analysis using application software such as EDSA, Easy Power, SKM, etc.
- Familiarity with LitPro and Visual Software.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct power system analysis including short circuit, power flow, voltage drop and protective device coordination.
- Knowledge of project design cost and scheduling.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of industrial structures and ability to execute related designs.
- Ability to work independantly as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage junior level staff and delegate work to design team.
