Position Summary:
Senior Electrical Engineer with design engineering experience to lead engineering and design teams on industrial and commerical projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead electrical engineering project design team.
• Electrical engineering design for low voltage power distribution, grounding systems and single line diagrams.
• Develop cost estimates and scope of the project in addition to estimating manpower and managing status reports.
• Produce necessary deliverables for electrical bids and construction.
• Write equipment and materials sizing and specifications.
• Work closely with discipline peers to ensure compliance with best practices and cross office support for short term project needs.
• Meet with clients to develop scopes of work, design budges and construction estimates.
• Suppot the technical and professional development of junior engineers and designers.
• Travel as needed to client sites and other SSOE offices.

• Experience as the Electrical design team leader for complex building systems. Must have some Industrial and Commercial experience.
• Design experience with motor controls, MCC and VFD's required.
• Understanding of lighting and power application design software; (EasyPower, SKM, EDSA, LightPro, etc.) and ability to perform facility load and short circuit analysis.
• NEC knowledgeable with hazardous classifications highly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to lead and manage project teams.
• Proven ability to multi-task and work independantly as well as in a team environment.
• Desire to work across multiple markets and workshare with various SSOE offices.
