SSOE’s Project Managers lead and support projects that range from advanced technology, automotive facilities, healthcare to energy, chemical, food and telecommunication, The size of our projects in these industries range in size, scope and complexity; no two projects are alike and each will bring its own unique challenge and solution.

SSOE doesn’t stop when the project is completed, using our Lessons Learned process to continually improve. After each of our projects, our project teams take a look back at what was good and what can we learn from on each project, to ensure we are always providing the client with the best possible experience. Using 70 years’ experience is how SSOE has arrived at our current project processes, procedures and best practices for excellent total project delivery.

Our senior level PMs are required to have a PMP, because we are dedicated to the PMP principles and practices. Our seasoned project teams use a collaborative series of tools to achieve total project delivery specific to the project’s scope and client goals, including systematic reporting, QC and lessons learned.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Support the project team to develop concept design with respect to constructability aspects.
  • Coordinate with internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Coordination with design team (OC & external consultants) to ensure deliverables are provided in accordance with project requirements.
  • Review quality plans of all contractors vendors and audit as per agreed frequency to ensure the same is acceptable to OC specification.
  • Ensure resources availability and proper allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track the progress on MS Project. Specifically, to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Review Project estimates, approvals and meeting Budgetary controls
  • Supporting Project sourcing, vendor evaluation & negotiations.
  • Review change request from the vendors with respect to project scope changes and provide recommendations to OC management for approval.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Projects commissioning & handover

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree / DIRECT / 8+
OSHA 10/30-hour Construction Certificate preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Qualification – Graduation in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical). PMP certification is desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years’ experience in handling multiple projects in Manufacturing set up. Out of 15 years – at least 5 years in senior management position.
  • Prover experience in Project Management at various levels like Planning, coordination & Execution
  • Teamwork – Able to work effectively with people where there is no reporting relationship
