Job Title: Sr. Architect

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and oversee the production of construction documents, plans and specifications. This includes stamping / sealing drawings done as the professional in responsible charge.
  • Mentor emerging professionals and designers.
  • Assist teams in finding technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with managers to ensure appropriate staffing is supplied at the right level of expertise.
  • Oversee coordination with all project discipline leads.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are on budget and schedule.
  • Oversee development of specifications.
  • Develop and maintain and relationships with past, current, and new clients.
  • Contribute to development of presentations and graphics in design submissions and lead client presentations.
  • Supervise the development of renderings for presentations and interviews.
  • Participate in preparation of proposals.

Position Type: Regular Full-Time
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree / DIRECT / 8+
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree with minimum of 12 years of experience in architectural practice.
  • Professional registration is required.
  • LEED AP accreditation preferred.
  • Design ability with a strong background in design.
  • Flexibility to work both with a single client with a variety of project types and multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, technical, written, and verbal skills.
  • Hands-on attitude.
  • Strong knowledge of building code, ADA, and other design / regulatory requirements.
  • Travel required.
  • Basic familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD.
