SSOE Chooses Arizona for Major Expansion Phoenix office to create 50 jobs in next three years; SSOE Has Nationwide Initiative to Hire More Than 200 Architects and Engineers

PHOENIX - March 8, 2007 - SSOE, Inc., one of the nation's largest architecture and engineering firms, today announced the selection of its Phoenix, Arizona office for a major expansion. The Phoenix office, led by Linda Delano, AIA, was opened in July, 2006 to serve the growth of the Southwest region particularly in the healthcare and retail sectors.

"Based on our initial success, Phoenix will serve as the hub of our western U.S. operations," said Delano referring to SSOE's other offices in Seattle, Washington and Irvine and Carlsbad, California. "We're excited about the opportunities in the Phoenix market and believe that a greater presence will further our potential for significant growth."

SSOE is in the final stages of selecting a larger office location in Phoenix to accommodate its planned growth and has begun recruitment and hiring of staff. The company is looking to hire experienced architecture and engineering professionals in addition to those with experience in project management. SSOE's Phoenix office plans to create 50 jobs in the next three years, which is part of the company's nationwide initiative to hire more than 200 architects and engineers. With the growing population in the Phoenix area, SSOE is well positioned to assist the additional need for retail and healthcare services. The office's customers, among others, include Lowe's, Mervyns, PetSmart, Safeway, Discount Tire, Walgreens, Albertsons and a number of healthcare clients.
