SSOE Opens New Office in Phoenix, AZ

International Architectural and Engineering Firm, SSOE Opens Fifth Office in Two Years. Phoenix, Arizona

SSOE, Inc., ranked the 12th largest architecture and engineering firm in the U.S. by Building Design and Construction in 2005, today announced the opening of a new office in Phoenix, Arizona. The new office offers SSOE easier access to clients, to architectural and engineering talent in the western part of the U.S. and the opportunity to build on the company's strengths.

Ms. Linda Delano, AIA, will serve as the Business Leader for the Phoenix office. Ms. Delano has over 20 years of professional experience in the management and direction of architectural and engineering firms. She comes to SSOE, after serving as Managing Principal of a Phoenix-based design build firm. Ms. Delano was responsible for multiple hospital and ambulatory care facilities, senior housing, as well as industrial and commercial facilities. Also joining the Phoenix office is Mr. Ken Ross, Project Architect. Mr. Ross brings more than 12 years of experience in retail, health care and correctional focused architecture.

"In combination with our Seattle and Irvine, California offices, Phoenix will allow us to better serve clients and find new opportunities to capitalize on growth in that part of the country." SSOE's announcement of their Phoenix operations quickly follows the recent opening of their Shanghai, China; Washington DC; St. Paul, Minnesota; and Midland, Michigan offices. Now with 13 offices in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and one in Shanghai, China, SSOE has experienced explosive growth over the past few years. The company has earned a solid reputation in facility design for the health care, retail, automotive and education markets, and has a very strong position in process engineering for the alternative energy, chemical, food, glass, mining and personal care industries, as well as in civil engineering. SSOE has completed projects in 48 states and 32 foreign countries.
