We are saddened by the devastating effects that hurricanes Harvey and Irma have produced over the past few weeks.

We share the grief of those who are affected by these storms, and also share the desire to help. Last week, we were a part of WTOL News 11’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Telethon locally, matching donations up to $5,000. This week, we are teaming with 13abc in Toledo for their Hurricane Irma Relief Telethon, again matching donations up to $5,000.

Your gift to the American Red Cross will support emergency relief efforts to help those affected by these storms. Assistance provided by the American Red Cross may include sending relief supplies, mobilizing relief workers, and providing financial resources.

In addition to our donations to the Red Cross, SSOE’s own Scott Goodwin, Corporate Safety Manager (pictured right), drove through the night last week to join a search and rescue team in Texas for several days.
