Kimberly Robertson Joins SSOE Group as Human Resource Manager

TOLEDO, Ohio, April 8, 2013 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), a global engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) firm, is pleased to welcome Kimberly (Kim) Robertson, SPHR as its new Human Resources Manager. Kim will be located in SSOE’s Toledo, Ohio office and will primarily lead human resource (HR) activities for two of SSOE’s Strategic Business Units (SBU’s) – energy, glass, manufacturing, and chemical (EGCM) as well as food and consumer products (FCP).

In her new role, Kim will be responsible for leading HR programs, policy implementation, and partnering with her operational units regarding their overall staffing needs. Kim comes to SSOE from Diamond Crystal Brands, a local food packaging manufacturer, where she served as HR Manager for the last eight years. Prior to that, Kim was the HR Manager for BioLab, Inc., a chemical manufacturer in Adrian, Michigan. With roots in both the food and chemical manufacturing environments, Kim’s background and expertise is well aligned to her new SSOE service areas.

Kim received both her Bachelor of Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resource Management, and Masters of Business Administration from The University of Toledo. In addition, she earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute in 2011. Currently, Kim is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and serves as the Program Chair for the Toledo Area Human Resources Association (TAHRA) and as a board member for the Ohio SHRM State Council.
