TOLEDO, Ohio, October 20, 2009 – SSOE Group, one of the nation’s largest architectural, engineering and construction management firms, will have education experts on hand exhibiting at the Ohio School Boards Association’s (OSBA) Capital Conference and trade show being held November 9-11, 2009 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The four day meeting brings together educators from around the state to discuss innovative approaches and proactive initiatives to a wide range of challenges in public education. In addition, nationally recognized speakers are slated to address the general session, as well as subsequent breakout events.

SSOE is instrumental in the ongoing design and restoration of the historic Jessup W. Scott High School Building in Toledo, Ohio. As part of SSOE’s role in leading the multi-million dollar renovation, the company is implementing sustainable design practices that will earn the building a LEED silver certification, while maintaining the original integrity of the more than a century old building. SSOE also led the $68 million dollar district wide rebuild for Miamisburg Schools for the purpose of accommodating growth and updating existing facilities to serve the educational needs of today and the future.
