March 08, 2011— SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), an international architectural, engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) firm announced today that Lee Warnick, AIA, has been appointed to the Board of Advisors for the University of Detroit Mercy School of Architecture and Mike Duffey, PE, to the Owens Community College Foundation Board of Directors.
Lee Warnick, AIA, Principal/Vice President, is located in SSOE’s Troy, Michigan office and has 35 years of architectural experience in which nearly 20 of those years were spent at SSOE. He is responsible for design, quality assurance, and business development in SSOE’s healthcare division. Lee will begin his term with the Board of Advisors for the University of Detroit Mercy School of Architecture on April 29, 2011. The Board, made up of design and construction professionals, provides perspective and advice in the development and review of curriculum and programs for the School of Architecture.
Mike Duffey, PE, is located in SSOE’s Toledo, Ohio headquarters and has 30 years of industry experience; he’s been with SSOE for 11 years. He is responsible for corporate wide strategic leadership and business development efforts in support of services related to the Federal Government market. Mike began his three-year term on the Owens Community College Foundation Board of Directors last June. The Foundation develops and provides resources to advance the College’s mission of serving our students and our community. It believes that higher education should be available to everyone and works to remove barriers to education by providing student scholarships and supporting growth and innovation.
