Wuertz and Behrendt of SSOE Earn Certifications as Senior Professionals in Human Resources (SPHR)Toledo, OH, April 23, 2009 – SSOE, Inc., one of the nation’s largest architecture and engineering firms, is proud to announce that Jennifer Wuertz, SPHR and Lisa Behrendt, SPHR, recently earned their certifications as Senior Professionals in Human Resources (SPHR). The certification, awarded by the HR Certification Institute, signifies that Wuertz and Behrendt possess the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management necessary to pass a rigorous examination demonstrating their breadth of knowledge in the field.

Jennifer Wuertz, SPHR, HR Business Leader, has 16 years of human resources experience at SSOE. Wuertz received her Master’s of Management degree and her Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management from The University of Toledo. She is also an active member in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Toledo Area Human Resources Association (TAHRA).

Lisa Behrendt, SPHR, HR Business Leader, has 10 years of human resources and training experience at SSOE. Behrendt received her Bachelor’s of Business Administration from The University of Toledo. She is a member of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Toledo Area Human Resources Association (TAHRA).
