Position Summary

SSOE is seeking a student enrolled as an Architecture major to join our Building Design Group for a summer semester co-op or internship in our Toledo office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support senior staff with design work, document preparation, and project administration in various project stages.
  • Works under the direction of a project architect to apply academic knowledge to the practice of architecture.
  • Develops and uses basic knowledge of building codes, materials and building systems.
  • Assist in organizing office standards and samples.

Minimum Education and Experience

None Specified / ENTRY / 0-2

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Current enrollment in a four-year, NAAB accredited college Architecture program.
  • Knowledge of architectural CADD and Building Information Modeling platforms including but not limited to AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Experience with or elementary knowledge of building construction is desired.
  • Ability to work well and be a contributor in a dynamic team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are required.
