Position Summary

SSOE is seeking a database and web programmer for our fast growing Leon Mexico office. The candidate will be providing support for designated Enterprise network systems and assist the Department Manager with technical tests, as needed. The candidate must thrive in a team environment and have outstanding communication and internal customer service skills.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support existing MS SQL and VB.Net applications.
  • Programming support for new application development.
  • Custom report development, including BI.
  • Data Warehouse development & management
  • Provide support for designated Enterprise network system issues elevated from Helpdesk Technicians.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree / DIRECT / 3-5

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required, preferred field of study in Information Technology or Engineering, equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
  • Proficient programming skills in MS SQL Server and .Net (1-3 years experience preferred)..
  • Definition and test plan development and execution.
  • Strong English communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated self-start committed to the delivery of quality products and internal customer service.
  • Must be able to work well in groups across multiple offices in several countries.
  • Experience with MVC web programming, BI Reports, and SharePoint development desired
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with internal customers, senior level personnel and team members.
  • Occasional travel (potentially international) may be required.
