Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Architectural Designer with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Previous experience in designing healthcare facilities or other projects of comparable detail and complexity.

An ideal candidate will be a proven self-starter that demonstrates strong design and comprehension skills.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs on-site field verification during design and construction.
  • Performs production of construction documents. Coordinates with multiple discipline engineers and designers throughout the project phases to develop fully integrated solutions and a coordinated set of construction documents.
  • Perform architectural design functions including space planning, 3D modeling, and drafting of design construction documents.
  • Applies standard design techniques and procedures exercising judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to design concepts.

Minimum Education and Experience

College Junior / DIRECT / 8+
OSHA 10/30-hour Construction Certificate preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High production AutoCAD and Revit abilities are a must. Use of other 3D modeling (SketchUp, 3D Studio, Navisworks) skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a project team atmosphere and manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity
  • Must demonstrate the ability to communicate, both verbally and written, in a direct, concise and effective manner with diverse groups.
  • Proven ability to listen effectively and follow directions and/or requirements provided by project lead/management, the Owner and the design team.
  • Strong knowledge of ADA compliancy and requirements, with the ability to conduct site surveys and identify and collect the proper information needed.
  • Intermediate to excellent skill using MS Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel is required. Additional abilities using Bluebeam, Acrobat and other collaboration software is preferred.
  • Due to the required travel-Valid Driver’s License and ability to qualify for company auto insurance required.
