Chattanooga, TN, May 15, 2012 - SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), a global engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) firm, is proud to announce that the Volkswagen Chattanooga Assembly Plant has been awarded the prestigious Gold 2012 Edison Green Award, the highest honor among Green Award winners. The award recognizes “excellence personified by Thomas Alva Edison, inspiring the drive to remain in the forefront of innovation, creativity and ingenuity in the global economy.” The Green Award specifically recognizes the environmental and sustainability achievements at Volkswagen Chattanooga. SSOE performed architecture, engineering, and construction management for this $1 billion+ production facility which produces the 2012 Passat. SSOE also functioned as the Project Team Administrator (PTA) and Design Lead for all LEED credits.
Midland, Michigan, May 07, 2012 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), an international architectural, engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) firm, welcomes Richard Fosgitt, PE as a Program Manager and newest addition to its project and construction management group. Fosgitt will be based out of SSOE’s Midland, Michigan office.
Fosgitt will lead the implementation of Net Zero Energy (NZE) initiatives for Federal Government clients. In this role, Richard will work closely with SSOE’s Director of Federal Programs, Mike Duffey and SSOE’s energy consulting group. TOLEDO, Ohio, April 30, 2012 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), an international architectural, engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) firm welcomes Dr. Phil De La Torre as the newly named Director of Training and Organizational Development. In this role, Dr. De La Torre will lead the development, management, and execution of SSOE’s technical and leadership training, as well as organizational development globally.
Dr. De La Torre has over 17 years of experience in management consulting around the world. His expertise includes management consulting, leadership development and coaching, teambuilding, and personality assessment. He comes to SSOE from Watterson & Associates, Inc., a consulting firm in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. There he served as a Senior Organizational Development and Leadership Coach.
