SSOE is Named ‘Hot Firm’ by ZweigWhite
SSOE has been named one of the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting firms by management consulting and research firm ZweigWhite in its annual ranking, The Zweig Letter Hot Firm List. SSOE has made the list the past 2 years, advancing from being ranked 136 in 2007 to 40 in 2008.

The list features architecture, engineering, and environmental firms that have outperformed the economy and their competitors in terms of growth and profitability. It considers firms in both the U.S. and Canada.

A complete list of the 200 fastest-growing architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting firms was published in the November 3, 2008 issue of The Zweig Letter and is also available online at www.hotfirm.com.

SSOE Receives Parent Friendly Workplace Award
The Parent Friendly Workplace Award recognizes a company/organization that is supportive of family obligations and is a great place to work in Lucas County, Ohio. Record Growth to Continue in 2009
Although 2008 has been exceptionally rough for the US economy, SSOE grew significantly for the fourth consecutive year, doubling in both size and revenue since 2004.

Tony Damon, AIA, President and CEO of SSOE, Inc. predicts that trend will continue, “Our outlook for 2009 is optimistic. We expect to improve upon our 2008 numbers, with 12% growth overall.” Damon attributes this optimism to SSOE’s diversity of clients, project types, and markets, and a philosophy that stresses building strong client relationships. SSOE was named fifth among US automotive design companies by Engineering News Record and was recently named one of the fastest growing A/E firms in the country by ZweigWhite. Damon explained, “This level of recognition confirms the resourcefulness and dedication of our employees as they do a superior job for our clients day after day.”
