Breathing new life into existing facilities.Historic Preservation & Adaptive Reuse
Adaptive reuse projects bring an opportunity to re-imagine and breathe new life into the facilities and the communities where we live and work. By taking a sustainable approach to design we create highly functional, environmentally responsible spaces that celebrate the original design language of each structure while maximizing functionality for its new purpose.
When it comes to creatively reimagining historic structures, our team understands how to honor the beauty and integrity of the facility’s past while thoughtfully addressing the needs of the occupants it must serve today. We develop innovative design solutions that extend the lifecycle of historic structures and minimize the negative effects of those changes needed to maintain a building’s safety, functionality, and efficiency.
“To be able to re-imagine and bring new life into a building that we grew up around, changing it into something new that represents our changing community, is a great service to be a part of.”
