SSOE Group Announces Employee Certifications for Fourth Quarter of Planning Year 2020

TOLEDO, Ohio, October 1, 2020 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), a global project delivery firm for architecture, engineering, and construction management, announced today that two of its employees earned professional certifications during the fourth quarter of SSOE’s 2020 planning year. Attainment of professional licensures and certifications is strongly encouraged at SSOE. In fact, the company covers the expense of preparation classes and exam fees as well as provides paid time off to take the exam. As an added incentive, once an employee has passed an exam, they are awarded a recognition bonus.­­­­

Certifications

OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry Certification

To receive Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction Industry certification, an individual must complete the 10-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program, which is intended to provide an entry-level construction worker with general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site. SSOE requires the OSHA 10-hour certification for all technical employees.

David Lykins, Section Manager, recently earned his OSHA 10-hour certification. A University of Notre Dame graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering, David works in SSOE’s Troy, Michigan office. He specializes in technical accuracy, administrative aspects, and overall quality control of assigned projects. David supports the firm’s Automotive and Manufacturing Facilities operations with his 20+ years of experience.

Ashley Siefker, Process Engineering, recently earned her OSHA 10-hour certification. A recent University of Dayton graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Ashley works in SSOE’s Lima, Ohio office and supports the firm’s Food and Consumer Products operations.
