SSOE Group Announces Employee Certifications for Third Quarter of Planning Year 2020

TOLEDO, Ohio, July 14, 2020 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), a global project delivery firm for architecture, engineering, and construction management, announced today that two of its employees earned professional registrations and certifications during the third quarter of SSOE’s 2020 planning year. Attainment of professional licensures and certifications is strongly encouraged at SSOE. In fact, the company covers the expense of preparation classes and exam fees as well as provides paid time off to take the exam. As an added incentive, once an employee has passed an exam, they are awarded a recognition bonus.­­­­

Certifications

Project Management Professional (PMP)

PMP® certification, awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI), indicates that an individual possesses the knowledge and skill necessary to lead and direct project teams, and delivers project results within the constraints of schedule, budget, and resources.

Alyson Dinca, PMP, CSI, CDT, Project Manager, recently earned her PMP certification. Alyson supports SSOE’s healthcare, commercial, and education operations from the firm’s Huntsville, Alabama office with 15+ years of experience. She is skilled in planning, management, software documentation, contract management, and process scheduling. Her responsibilities include directly managing both single and multidisciplinary programs and projects from proposal through closeout across multiple offices. She often acts as the point of contact for many clients and their projects, as well as provides project controls, budgeting, and general project support for other project management and corporate staff.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Certification

To receive OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach certification, an individual must complete the 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Course. This course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry, but more specifically devised for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors and provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues. SSOE requires the OSHA 30-hour certification for all field and start-up employees.

Jason Achenbach, Senior Mechanical Engineering, recently earned his OSHA 30-hour certification. A University of Toledo graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Jason works in SSOE’s Toledo, Ohio office. He specializes in maintenance, mechanical design and fabrication, fiberglass, roofing shingles, container glass, as well as material handling. Jason supports the firm’s energy, glass, and chemical manufacturing operations with his 10+ years of experience.
