SSOE Group Announces León Office Expansion Amid Continued Growth in Mexico
LEÓN, Guanajuato, Mexico, October 26, 2023 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), an internationally ranked architecture and engineering firm, is proud to announce the expansion of its León, Guanajuato, office—a direct result of the firm’s continued focus on and investment in its Mexico operations. Last month, an open house reception, consisting of a special town hall with a ribbon-cutting and blessing ceremony, was held to inaugurate the expansion of SSOE’s León operations as it now occupies a third additional floor within the office complex.
Over the past three years, SSOE’s León office has nearly tripled in size, now employing over 135 staff members. It’s now the firm’s third largest office behind its Toledo, Ohio, headquarters and Portland, Oregon, location. In addition to the rapid growth within the León office, early this year SSOE also established operations in Chihuahua, Mexico. Now employing 25 individuals and counting, the Chihuahua office has already expanded its office footprint, less than a year after opening its doors, to accommodate an increase in staff as its book of business continues to build. A significant portion of SSOE’s rapid growth in Mexico can be attributed to the total Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) services performed as well as the diversification of its portfolio of in-country clients in the food, beverage, glass, and pharmaceutical industries. Additionally, by utilizing its experienced Mexican staff on projects across the U.S. and in Mexico, the firm’s Mexican operations have begun to support key SSOE clients on a global scale.

This allows us to provide our clients with more cost-effective project solutions while also increasing our responsiveness by leveraging our growing in-country team and our recently established presence in Chihuahua.”
