SSOE Group Welcomes Zac Smith to their Southeast Operations as Automotive & Manufacturing Facilities Strategic Business Unit Civil Department Manager

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, November 20, 2020 — SSOE Group, a global project delivery firm for architecture, engineering, and construction management, is excited to welcome Zac Smith, PE to their Birmingham office as Civil Department Manager for the firm’s Automotive & Manufacturing Facilities (AMF) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). Zac’s addition reinforces SSOE’s strategic commitment to expanding the firm’s Southeast presence and depth of resources in the region to deliver great client service.

Zac is an accomplished, results-oriented engineering professional with an extensive project management background. His technical experience includes the development, implementation, and operationalization of design-based solutions for civil, commercial, and industrial sites and organizations. Zac most recently served as Civil, Structural, and Architectural Manager for KBR, Inc., a global provider of differentiated, professional services, and technologies delivered across a wide government, defense, and industrial base. He led teams responsible for collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including business units, clients, project managers, and other departments. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
