Orangeburg County Courthouse

The Orangeburg County Courthouse project involves the design and construction administration of a new courthouse and associated parking facilities. The proposed courthouse will encompass approximately 130,000 gross square feet, distributed across four stories. The courthouse will feature multiple courtrooms to meet the needs of Orangeburg County, along with various court functions and ancillary support components. A secure parking area for approximately 15 vehicles directly adjacent to the building, will be provided for courthouse use. In addition to the secure parking, adequate public and staff parking will be developed in proximity to the courthouse. This parking area is preliminarily estimated to include approximately 300 spaces, accommodating handicap, delivery, security, electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS), and general clientele parking. SSOE is providing architecture, interior design, and engineering services for this project. Collaboration with MMSA Structural Engineers, Alliance Consulting Engineers, and Justice Planning Associates will ensure the successful completion of the courthouse.
