In an October Plant Engineering webcast, Witt Parrish, Senior Mechanical Engineer, SSOE Group, and John Cray, Principal Consultant, Life Cycle Engineering, explored the shift from manually managed usage-based maintenance to more condition-based or predictive maintenance. In this article, they address some of the questions that were not answered during the webcast.
Parrish has 16 years of experience designing HVAC and mechanical systems for manufacturing, industrial, food and beverage, DOE / DOD, commercial, and healthcare facilities. He draws from a wide variety of experience to provide the best solution to meet his client’s needs including HVAC for critical environments such as cleanrooms, dry rooms, sanitary spaces, and hazardous rooms. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states. Additionally, Parrish is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
