TOLEDO, Ohio, October 22, 2026 – SSOE Group, an internationally ranked architecture and engineering firm headquartered in Ohio for 78 years, announced that CEO Vince DiPofi, PE, will serve as a featured speaker at the Generational Differences in the Workplace Conference on October 30 from at the Hilton Garden Inn in Perrysburg, Ohio. SSOE is supporting the event as its Legacy Sponsor.
The conference, organized by WLM Cultural Communications, brings together HR leaders, corporate managers, business owners, and workforce professionals to explore the challenges and opportunities of managing across generational lines.
The keynote will be delivered by nationally recognized author Dr. Tim Elmore, founder of Growing Leaders and author of A New Kind of Diversity: Making the Different Generations on Your Team a Competitive Advantage.
For SSOE, the topic is more than academic, it’s central to the firm’s long-term strategy.
DiPofi, who has led SSOE as CEO since 2019 and has more than 40 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, brings a perspective shaped by both operational leadership and a career-long commitment to community engagement.
DiPofi commented:
“Understanding how different generations communicate, collaborate, and define success isn’t optional anymore. It’s a business imperative. At SSOE, our work has taught us that different inputs don’t have to create conflict. They can contribute to a stronger solution. The same is true of people. When experience, fresh thinking, and different perspectives work together, they make the entire organization stronger. We don’t need five generations of people who think alike. We need five generations willing to solve problems together, each bringing different strengths to the same challenge.”
SSOE’s sponsorship and participation in the conference reflects the firm’s broader strategic commitment to community impact. Under its 2030 Strategic Plan, SSOE has formalized a commitment to giving back through volunteerism and charitable contributions —an initiative led internally by Candice Harrison, Director of Inclusion & Community Impact.
Harrison shared:
“Our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts are rooted in the belief that differences make us stronger, and generational diversity is an important part of that conversation. By supporting this conference, SSOE is investing in greater understanding, stronger connections, and a workplace culture where every generation feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.”
That community-first philosophy also extends into how SSOE develops its own people. Brad Rowe, SHRM-SCP, Principal and Senior Vice President of People & Culture, will facilitate a breakout discussion at the conference drawing on SSOE’s firsthand experience navigating multigenerational dynamics within a technical workforce spanning offices in the U.S., Mexico, and India.

Rowe is the executive sponsor of several 2030 Strategic Plan initiatives, including programs centered on emotional intelligence and the firm’s Leading with Gratitude effort, which promotes meaningful appreciation as a leadership tool for strengthening relationships among colleagues, teams, clients, and communities.
Harrison continued:
“Preparing the workforce of the future is one of the central pillars of SSOE’s 2030 Strategic Plan. That means investing in emotional intelligence, adaptability, and empathy, and building what we call an inclusive, high-belonging, and high-recognition culture. Those aren’t aspirational talking points, they’re specific commitments we’re executing against right now.”
