SSOE is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and act as electrical team leader for automotive and industrial projects. As a project lead, you are assigned to selected projects, direct designers and AutoCAD operators and act as support on other projects.

Ideal candidates will have experience with consulting on design in power distribution, lighting, and grounding for automotive and industrial plants. Must possess excellent collaboration and communication skills with different disciplines and teams across various locations.

Senior Controls Designer (Glass)

SSOE Group is seeking a talented Controls Programmer for our award-winning Toledo, OH office. The candidate must have experience with Wonderware, Rockwell (Allen Bradley) PLC5, PLC500, Controllogix, VFDs, Kinetix Servo Drives, as well as Panelview Plus hardware and software components. The Programmer will work on industrial projects for clients in the glass and manufacturing industries.

Project Manager (Chemical)

SSOE Group is seeking a talented Project Manager for multiple office locations. The candidate must have a proven track record of executing and managing projects that develop drawings and specifications as a deliverable, preferably for chemical, heavy industrial, refining and manufacturing companies and/or electrical utilities

An idea professional for this role will be a natural leader and effective communicator, who thrives in a team environment. PMP certification is not required, but preferred.

Project Controller

SSOE Group is seeking a talented Project Controller and/or Assistant Project Manager for our Toledo or Midland office. In either role, the candidate will help support Engineers, Project Managers, and design professionals support internal and external clients.

Mechanical Engineer (Glass)

As a mid-level Mechanical Engineer, you are at a pivotal point in your career. The ultimate goal for our engineers to hold an active, vital role in our project delivery designs. This can be as a design engineer, discipline lead, Project Manager or Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will partner with your manager to determine the direction in the company you want to follow. Electrical Engineer (Commercial)

Electrical Engineer with consulting design experience in electrical power, lighting, and grounding systems for healthcare, education, commercial, and retail buildings. Applicant will act as electrical team leader on selected projects, complete designs using design software, direct designers, AutoCAD operators, and act as support on other projects. Position will report directly to the Department Manager.

Must have good communication skills and some working knowledge of project design, construction, design software, cost, and scheduling.

BIM – CAD Technical Specialist

BIM Technical Specialists at SSOE have entrepreneurial spirit and constantly seek out new opportunities for creativity and innovation. They work in a multi-discipline team environment and are able to prioritize and execute BIM activities with a core focus on efficiency and collaboration. The successful candidate confidently explains BIM principals, particularly using Process Piping applications, to all levels of design and construction professionals. Construction Management Co-op (Fall 2019)

SSOE Group is looking for a student to join our Project Controls Department at our award-winning Toledo office. Candidate should possess the desire to work under EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) resources for our organization while providing support to our design and engineering staff. The co-op assignments are structured so that the candidates develop the ability with each new work term to accept work assignments with increasing level of complexity and self-reliance.

SSOE internships provide opportunities for students to gain experience in their field, determine if they have an interest in a particular career, and create a network of contacts.

This opportunity is considered integral to the Construction Team and will be provided tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating. Under guidance of the Construction Execution Team, the students will be assigned to teams associated with ongoing EPC or EPCM programs.

Although SSOE makes no guarantee of employment, it is our goal to have our Interns fully capable of stepping into a full-time rotation program to prepare them for a project management or construction position within our organization by the end of the program.

Database and Web Programmer

The Database & Web Programmer will work directly with senior team members and Administrators to define and develop solutions that will enable administration and operations staff to work in a more educated, user-friendly, and efficient manner. Junior Mechanical Engineer

SSOE is looking to hire a Junior level Mechanical Engineer to join our growing healthcare, educational and commercial team. As a mechanical engineer you will work as part of a multi-disciplined design team providing our clients efficient and innovated solutions to their projects. Candidates must have experience in the design, sizing, and selection of mechanical building systems, including HVAC and piping.

Estimator (Design-Build)

SSOE is looking for a Project Estimator that can provide accurate conceptual budgets and construction estimates, sometimes with limited or incomplete information, from quantity takeoffs, field investigations, and construction knowledge.

The ideal candidate would possess a good understanding of local and project cost factors to apply to a cost estimate. Ability to interface with engineers and contractors to gather and decipher needed information. Ability to analyze contractor bids and assist in bid reviews with contractors, and ability to effectively communicate expectations.

Position may require periodic field assignments and some travel. Long term travel should be less than 25%.
