Our Structural Designers at SSOE are essential, working closely with our project teams, project managers and clients. The Struct. Designers are more than mere draftsmen, they implement the designs of the lead engineers in both 2D and 3D environments, often working out the practical distribution solutions and coordinating with multiple disciplines. They operate in a highly visual based system and are often the backbone of the production of our construction documents. Structural Designers can expect to support projects involving static and dynamic loading, facility roof framing, multi-floor & mezzanine and foundation designs covering a wide range of expertise and levels of detail

Structural Designer (Industrial)

SSOE is seeking an experienced designer to join our Automotive, Manufacturing and Facilities structural team. Candidates shall have experience working on industrial projects involving building structures and structures associated with support and access for manufacturing equipment. Experience with Commercial and Institutional projects is beneficial. Candidates shall have significant experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.

Structural Engineer

SSOE is currently seeking a Mid-level Structural Engineer to join our growing structural team. Projects will vary in size, nature and scope, but include Industrial, Manufacturing, Commercial and Institutional projects. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit Structure and Navisworks as well as commercially available structural analysis and design software packages including RISA-3D and STAAD is required.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

SSOE Group is seeking a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer for our award-winning Hillsboro office. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter with clear and concise communication skills. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for detailed phases of engineering work on major projects or total engineering work on projects of smaller or moderate scope.

Senior Process Engineer (Food)

The Process Engineer will coordinate with the US team to develop drawing packages as well as scope documents and specifications for projects in both the US and Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, with 4 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in the Food or Pharmaceutical Industry.

Ability to work within project budgets and schedules, Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, Organizational capabilities, including coordinating work with other disciplines.

Experienced in design of food or pharmaceutical facilities. Familiar with consultant business practices and ideally some experience in a manufacturing facility. Work with project managers and other engineers to develop project plans and scopes. Work with client engineers to make sure designs meet the client needs.

Mechanical Engineer (Automotive)

SSOE is seeking an experienced Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join our growing Leon Guanajuato office. This position will support large scale industrial and manufacturing projects including HVAC load calculations and static pressure calculations.
As part of an international design firm and working with a USA based team, you will leverage Revit, and other modeling software to provide value-based design for our world-class clients. In this role you will prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and SSOE standards. Construction Coordinator

SSOE is a US-based Engineering, Architectural and Construction Management firm. Our growing Mexico operation is looking to hire an Electrical Construction Supervisor to join their team. As an Electrical Construction Supervisor, you will be part of SSOE team in Queretaro, Mexico supporting our industrial projects. We have a large automotive project where you would be working onsite monitoring the electrical construction progress, ensuring the Electrical Contractor is adhering to design intent, safety requirements, and working on behalf of our Owner to ensure budget, schedule and quality of the project is on track.

Controls Designer

SSOE Group is seeking a talented Controls Designer with consulting design experience to join an experienced and established team based primarily out of our Toledo, Ohio office.

Candidates should possess PLC programming experience and field experience working with Allen Bradley based control systems. The ideal candidate would be capable of generating proposals, estimates, and project schedules. Candidates should also be able to develop control system design packages using AutoCAD, perform PLC & HMI programming, and support startups on industrial projects for clients in the glass and manufacturing industries.

BIM Model Manager

SSOE is looking to hire a BIM Model Manager for our Energy, Glass, Chemical and Manufacturing team. As BIM/VDC Model Manager, you will drive high value innovations and quality workflow improvements within in a diverse team environment. You will be involved in operation project details, planning, and technology execution with an emphasis in LEAN principals.
