Process Engineer (Food)

As a mid-level Process Engineer, you are at a pivotal point in your career where the role tends to take on a broader range of responsibilities. Beyond the normal discipline specific professional development you will also develop a deeper understanding of work in related disciplines, gain practical experience in the field to inform future design work, and build leadership skills to support increasingly important roles within the organization. You will partner with your manager to determine the direction in the company you want to follow – which may be the technical pathway toward Project Engineer or Subject Matter Expert (SME) or alternately toward the managerial group as a Project Manager. Quite a few of our senior engineers and business leaders started as a co-op/intern or joined us right out of college, and navigated themselves to where they are today.

Many of the professionals at SSOE are held in high regard within their discipline and/or field. They can be found in leading industry publications such as ENR, Processing Magazine, BD+C Magazine, and Security Systems News (just to name a few), presenting at Autodesk University or participating in affiliation groups or professional societies.

Technology is an important component of how we successfully deliver solutions to meet our customer’s business requirements. Our VDC/BIM Group are recognized leaders in pushing the envelope with regard to design/build collaborative technology and related applications. Our team is always looking for innovative new ways to improve the tools and methods we use to develop our technical deliverables or execute our project delivery.
