Applicant must have experience as a Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering capital projects. The candidate must have experience in the food industry, managing small capital projects up to $10M in cost. Key responsibilities of the position include project/program planning, stakeholder management and leadership of an engineering team.
Candidate should have some familiarity with processing equipment, materials handling, and common utility systems. The candidate must also be familiar with sanitary design for processes and GMP facilities, common environmental systems, and field support for all phases of project execution (scoping to commissioning).The candidate should also have proficiency in Microsoft products including MS Project.
Primary responsibilities to include project engineering & management, process and facility engineering, manhour and design cost estimating and scheduling, ISO system compliance for all assignments. Direct responsibility for executing projects with regard to scope, schedule and budget. Candidate will work closely with client personnel on a regular basis. The ideal candidate would also have experience with project definition, development, and rough estimating.
Must be able to work well with groups and multiple offices including off-shore resources. Good communication skills (written and verbal) are critical. Must be a self-starter committed to delivery of quality products and building long term profitable relationships internally and externally. Travel is required.
