We are seeking a student who is enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program for our Virtual Design and Construction team. Apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to active projects, while building professional network along the way.

SSOE’s Corporate Global Initiatives team drives innovation and high value workflow improvements to the organization. The VDC Co-op is a member of this diverse team, contributing to the firm’s Virtual Design and Construction efforts. You will be involved in a number of aspects of project execution, including: operation project details, project planning, and technology integration.

Looking for enthusiasm and entry level experience in one or more of the following:

• BIM or 3D Modeling
• Gaming Engines or VR Environments
• Construction Coordination
• Trade or Fabrication Modeling or assembly
• Computer Programing
• Reality Capture – LIDAR or UAV/UAS Scanning

We’re seeking a student enrolled in the civil engineering program to join our automotive and manufacturing facility design team for the 2020 summer semester. The position will be located at our Birmingham office location.

Qualified students have completed structural engineering coursework at an ABET accredited program and have proficient computer skills.

Construction Management Co-op (Summer 2020)

SSOE Group is looking for a student to join our Project Controls Department at our award-winning Toledo office. Candidate should possess the desire to work under EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) resources for our organization while providing support to our design and engineering staff. The co-op assignments are structured so that the candidates develop the ability with each new work term to accept work assignments with increasing level of complexity and self-reliance.

SSOE internships provide opportunities for students to gain experience in their field, determine if they have an interest in a particular career, and create a network of contacts.

This opportunity is considered integral to the Construction Team and will be provided tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating. Under guidance of the Construction Execution Team, the students will be assigned to teams associated with ongoing EPC or EPCM programs.

Although SSOE makes no guarantee of employment, it is our goal to have our Interns fully capable of stepping into a full-time rotation program to prepare them for a project management or construction position within our organization by the end of the program.
