Senior Project Manager (Food)

Applicant must have experience as a Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering capital projects. The candidate must have experience in the food industry, managing small capital projects up to $10M in cost. Key responsibilities of the position include project/program planning, stakeholder management and leadership of an engineering team.
Candidate should have some familiarity with processing equipment, materials handling, and common utility systems. The candidate must also be familiar with sanitary design for processes and GMP facilities, common environmental systems, and field support for all phases of project execution (scoping to commissioning).The candidate should also have proficiency in Microsoft products including MS Project.

Primary responsibilities to include project engineering & management, process and facility engineering, manhour and design cost estimating and scheduling, ISO system compliance for all assignments. Direct responsibility for executing projects with regard to scope, schedule and budget. Candidate will work closely with client personnel on a regular basis. The ideal candidate would also have experience with project definition, development, and rough estimating.

Must be able to work well with groups and multiple offices including off-shore resources. Good communication skills (written and verbal) are critical. Must be a self-starter committed to delivery of quality products and building long term profitable relationships internally and externally. Travel is required.

Senior Process Engineer (Food)

Are you looking for your ultimate career destination? This is the role that could allow you to find your home here at SSOE Group. Our team is looking to for a Process Engineer to be a part of a growing team for our Food and Consumer Products (FCP) business unit.

The Process Engineer will coordinate with the US team to develop drawing packages as well as scope documents and specifications for projects in both the US and Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, with 4 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in the Food or Pharmaceutical Industry.

Ability to work within project budgets and schedules, Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, Organizational capabilities, including coordinating work with other disciplines.

Experienced in design of food or pharmaceutical facilities. Familiar with consultant business practices and ideally some experience in a manufacturing facility. Work with project managers and other engineers to develop project plans and scopes. Work with client engineers to make sure designs meet the client needs.

Mechanical Designer (Food)

This position is to support needs in mechanical design, equipment integration and support of the process teams in piping and utilities. The primary focus of this position is to support 3D piping using Plant 3D. Inventor piping experience would be a plus.
