TOLEDO, Ohio, December 3, 2025 — SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), an internationally ranked architecture and engineering firm, has been selected for the Fortune Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™ list, published by Great Place To Work® and Fortune magazine for 2025. This is SSOE’s first time being named to this prestigious list, of the Top 25 professional service firms in the country.
The Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services award is based on analysis of survey responses from nearly 149,000 employees at Great Place To Work Certified™ companies in the consulting and professional services industry.
SSOE’s Brad Rowe, CCWP, Senior Vice President of People and Culture, remarked:
“Our employees have fostered an incredible culture at SSOE, and being included on this highly competitive list is further proof of what SSOE employees already know—it’s a wonderful place to work! This list validates the values we work hard to uphold every day like trust, pride, and collaboration. We’re grateful for our dedicated employees who’ve helped us achieve this honor.”
Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifiers.
SSOE’s Candice Harrison, Director of Inclusion and Community Impact, commented:
“Since joining SSOE, I’ve seen how a genuine commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion can reshape workplace culture. By intentionally embedding DEI into our daily practices, we’ve empowered employees to bring their full selves to work—fueling innovation, collaboration, and a deeper sense of belonging. SSOE’s dedication to DEI is not just a value—it’s a strategic priority we’re championing at every level.”
Under Harrison’s leadership, SSOE has seen a measurable rise in employee engagement, with executive diversity doubling and the overall diverse employee base increasing by over 50% since she joined the firm in 2022. Additionally, Candice has led SSOE in implementing six Employe Resource Groups with nearly 20% of the employee population participating in at least one group currently.
In June, SSOE announced that it has been certified as a Great Place to Work® for 2025. This marks the eighth time the organization has earned this prestigious credential, demonstrating its continued dedication to creating an exceptional workplace. Over the past eight years, clients have also consistently reported the firm’s people as one of its strongest differentiators in SSOE’s annual satisfaction survey.

“Belonging is built by design,” said Candice Harrison, Director of Inclusion and Community Impact. “Our ERGs demonstrate that the same collaboration and creativity we apply to the built environment can be intentionally mirrored to build equitable environments—where inclusion is something you can see, touch, and build on.”
“This year, we enhanced our company vision: Imagining and creating the future with our clients, colleagues, and communities. It’s not just a statement on the wall; it’s a proactive effort,” said Vince DiPofi, SSOE’s CEO. “The choices we make today, how we design, who we include, where we invest, are already shaping tomorrow. The future isn’t ahead of us; it’s built in. This ERG-led initiative reflects that exactly. Creating access for youth to imagine their futures in STEM is the kind of built inclusion and intention we bring to the future.”
