
David Semproch leads SSOE’s unified Architectural Business Unit, setting strategic direction and elevating delivery across a team of 150+ architecture professionals. A licensed architect with project experience spanning food and beverage, sterile/high-hygiene manufacturing, fine chemicals, and large-scale industrial facilities, David is known for transforming complex programs into clear, buildable solutions—balancing the art of architecture, the science of engineering, and the craft of construction.
Shaped by a wide range of project types and partnerships—from the U.S. to Brazil, China, India, and Mexico—David values diversity of thought and the different perspectives it brings to design. He brings Lean and VDC mindsets to practice, championing continuous improvement, constructibility, and value creation for clients and end users. Above all, he is deeply committed to “taking care of his people,” cultivating trust, mentorship, and growth pathways for emerging and seasoned professionals alike.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University. An enthusiastic communicator and accomplished visual thinker, he uses drawing as a universal language—teaching, coaching, and encouraging teams to think boldly, iterate rigorously, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
