Susan Payden is Vice President, Investments, at Trinity Health, joining in January 2017. Trinity Health is one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit health systems in the US, with 115,000 colleagues, 29,000 physicians and 88 hospitals across 25 states, generating approximately $20 billion in annual revenue. In her role, Susan is responsible for the $25 billion investment program comprised of Trinity Health’s Operating, Foundation, Insurance and Retirement Plans assets. Prior to Trinity Health, Susan served as Vice President, Corporate Treasury, at ProMedica Health System, overseeing the organization’s investment and debt portfolios as well as cash management activities. At ProMedica, Susan also provided financial leadership for various M&A activities and was CFO for several regional facilities. Susan is active in her community and currently serves on The University of Toledo Foundation Board of Trustees (Vice Chair), including their Executive Committee, Investment Committee (Chairman) and Finance/Audit Committee. Susan previously served on the Gateway Health Plan Investment Committee, Lima Memorial Health System Board of Trustees and Finance Committee, Huntington Bank Client Advisory Board, Notre Dame Academy Board of Trustees (Treasurer), Executive Committee and Finance Committee (Chair), in addition to the Josina Lott Residential and Community Services Board of Trustees (Treasurer), Executive Committee and Finance Committee (Chair). Susan received both her BBA (Accounting) and MBA from The University of Toledo.
