Lucid Motors recently broke ground on the first phase of its new manufacturing plant in Casa Grande, Arizona. SSOE Group joined their client at the celebration along with their contracting partner, Walbridge. SSOE will serve as the architect and engineer of record for the 820,000 SF facility, currently designing Phase I of the four-phase master plan that includes a body shop and paint shop with general assembly, as well as a central utility building and auxiliary buildings for production of the Lucid Air, a luxury electric car with 400-mile range battery.
